Sponsor Reporting Duties - Home Office, UK

Once the the College becomes your education sponsor the College is required to notify the UKBA (Home Office) and other related authorities when a student:

1. Does not turn up on the first day at the College or does not enrol on their course at the expected time.

2. Stops attending or registration ends.

3. Misses 10 expected contacts/classes of study without prior approval.

4. Breaches the conditions of their leave to remain. 5. If the College stops sponsoring them for any other reason, for example, if they move into a immigration category that does not need a sponsor or their permission to stay in the United Kingdom ends.

6. If there are any significant changes in their circumstances, for example, if the length of a course of study becomes shorter.
